80's Duets: Bananarama & Fun Boy Three- "Really Saying Something"

During the 1982, early Bananarama and Fun Boy Three recorded two duets. The three women provided credited chorus vocals on the hit "T'ain't What You Do (It's the Way That You Do It)" and the Fun Boy Three later sang on the Bananarama song "Really Saying Something". Both songs were released as singles during the same year and also appeared on both bands' albums.

The Specials celebrate 30 Years

The Specials' 30-year career is set to be marked at the Shockwaves NME Awards as part of a special link-up with the Teenage Cancer Trust. The Coventry band will be honored at this year's ceremony on February 24. They will also headline this year's Big Gig, which will take place as the Royal Albert Hall in conjunction with the charity.

Instant Hit: And One- Forever J

This year, one of the songs I've been listening to frequently is a cover by the German group And One. Originally recorded by Terry Hall and released in the early 90s, this cover version later became a B-side of the single "Wasted," released by And One around 2000.
